Journaling Through The Storm: Rare Mama Writing & Resilience Circle

Are you a mother or caregiver of a child with a rare medical condition?

Would you like to learn how journal writing and science of happiness tools can help you become more resilient in the face of such extraordinary challenges?

How do we raise a child during the multi-system storm of a pandemic, global warming, and all that is facing us right now? These are extraordinary times, your life is extraordinary—and so you need some stronger tools in your toolbox in order to get through this.

Each of us has inside of us enormous power to rise up and face the hardest of things—and yet doing it alone is not possible. This amazing group of warm, insightful and powerful women is a tribute to the ways in which community support can help us get through the most monumental challenges that life throws at us.

It is a deep honor to lead this group and we are now for the first time in a year welcoming new members! Please join us for a drop in to see what it’s like. If you wish to get the most impact from this group I recommend that you sign up and try one group, and then try to make time to attend weekly for best results. This allows to to become part of this community and forge deep bonds with other women all around the country and the world who are struggling with similar challenges and finding their way through it.

Group rules: Honor the space, don’t share private information or gossip, show up on time as much as humanly possible! Give space, share space. Bring a pen and a notebook to write in. Come as you are. Messy houses and loud interrupting children—no judgments here.

Rare disease is any disease categorized as “rare”—yet there are many other medical conditions that may also be considered “rare” as in not very common, and equally challenging. Not sure?
